Susan’s Women’s Conference Brings Laughter and Refreshing

In September, Susan Shanklin was the speaker for a women’s conference at the Faith Family Christian Center in Hendricks, Minnesota. She spoke on “Ain’t Gonna Give Up” and “Don’t Give Up on You” bringing a Word of encouragement and hope to the ladies of the area. The meetings were a time of refreshing, laughter, and release, and the Lord used the time to create a spirit of faith to go forward in the things of God. A Great Weekend of Ministry in Ruthton, Minnesota

Susan and I had a wonderful weekend of ministry at Ruthton, Minnesota. Susan was invited to speak at a women’s luncheon on Saturday, Oct. 22 at the Country Church with Pastor Rich and Fran DeRuyter. She shared two messages from the Word: “Who Are You Anyway?” and “You Are a Daughter.” About 40 women attended. I heard many positive reports from the ladies. Women’s Ministry in the UP

By Tom Shanklin For the first time in my life, I preached a women’s meeting. It was great! Women from various churches in and around Iron Mountain, Michigan came with hungry hearts. Pastor Joan Archiquette of the River of God Church in Crystal Falls leads the group, which meets in various places in this colorful and unique part of the world. Kenya Mission January 2004

I want to say thank you to everyone who prayed and gave financially to make our mission to Kenya in January, 2004 a success. People told me afterwards that they were praying and fasting for us while we were in Kenya and we certainly could sense your prayers. The entire team remarked how smoothly things went and how readily God’s grace was available to us in every situation.
