Baptisms at the Country Church in Ruthton, Minnesota
By Tom Shanklin The Country Church in Ruthton, Minnesota had a baptism planned on the day I was scheduled to speak. It seems appropriate that Pastor Rich DeRuyter would use a stock tank purchased at a farm and home store to baptize the converts. Prayer and Healing Service June 15 in Mankato
We are excited to let you know about the Tom Shanklin Ministries Interdenominational Prayer and Healing Service on Friday, June 15, at 7 p.m. at the Happy Chef Restaurant banquet room, 2100 Highway 169 North in Mankato. Wooden Cars from Cruise-Aiders Cars4Kids on the Way to Liberia
By Tom Shanklin While traveling through northwest Minnesota I stopped at Ken Pederson’s home near Hawley, Minnesota. Ken is director of Cruise-Aiders Cars4Kids, a ministry which is making small wooden cars and distributing them to children around the world in order to show them the love of Christ. About four years ago, Ken, who is a Carpenter/Cabinet Maker by trade, started making small wooden cars in his wood shop. Five Decisions for Christ at Hispanic Church in Lakeville, Minnesota
Susan and I had a great time of ministry at Bienvenidos a Jesús Church in Lakeville, Minnesota on Sunday, January 22. I preached on “Life and Life More Abundantly” from John 10:10, telling the people that God has provided victory for them in Christ Jesus. Five people made decisions for Christ and we prayed for many needs among the people. According to the pastor, the people who came forward were all new to the church. Family Fun Music Festival in Mahnomen Bears Fruit
By Tom Shanklin Thanks for your prayers for our outreach to Mahnomen, Minnesota on Sept. 23-25. Many lives were touched, God’s people were encouraged, and souls came into the Kingdom of God. Five area churches cooperated with the event, contributing labor, love, and finances. Approximately 150 people attended during the afternoon, and we were able to pray with 15-20 for salvation, and several others for healing. But numbers do not give an adequate picture of the event.
